Since earlier this year, I've been turning down most speaking and other
invitations with the following explanation.
I would consider making exceptions for opportunities that directly
further the project.

Thank you very much for the invitation.
Unfortunately, I'm not be able to accept.
For next few years nearly all my time and energy is dedicated to an
effort to develop robot navigation suitable for mass market. After
frustrating decades, sufficient computer power has finally arrived.
I'm rushing to capitalize on our decades of preparation before
further increases in computer power make the problem so easy
everyone will be doing it!
