Before it ends, the Life in the Atacama project will have employed two robots. The first is Hyperion, a veteran of the Sun-Synchronous Robotics Project that has been serving as a testbed and model for the new robot, ZoŽ. ZoŽ will be very similar to Hyperion while incorporating new autonomy software and specialized sensors for detecting life.
